Description

Cultivated for over 4,000 years, cardamom has long been one of the oldest global seasonings. Ground cardamom seeds have an intensely complex floral sweet and spicy aroma redolent of citrus, eucalyptus, and mint. A little powder goes a long way - it's used judiciously in spice mixes like garam masala and to flavor curries, chutneys, cookies, cakes, and braised meat dishes. Also delicious in coffee, teas, and rice puddings. Cardamom adds incredible aromatic quality and pairs well with cinnamon, clove, and ginger.
